ELFA member participation in the political process is critical so that policymakers will hear the united voice for our industry and understand how current policy issues will affect the equipment leasing and finance industry.
This ONE DAY program includes:

- Meeting on Capitol Hill and with select federal agencies

Capitol Hill Meeting Assignments
ELFA creates individualized schedules with our target list of elected officials in the House and Senate for each attendee. Congressional offices are alerted to those scheduled to visit the office and expect to see those listed.
Registered attendees will be assigned meetings based on geography to the extent possible. If you have a relationship with a specific member of Congress, please contact Matthew Hart (mhart@elfaonline.org) to discuss.
Attendees will be able to view their individual schedules by logging onto the ELFA Capitol Connections website after May 15. Do not plan travel based on the online schedule! Due to the nature of scheduling with congressional offices, attendees will receive a final listing of meeting assignments onsite at the meeting registration.
Special Note
Attendees should plan to arrive in the afternoon on May 21. Travel home should not be scheduled until May 23. If you have specific circumstances, please contact Matthew Hart to discuss.
Each attendees’ schedule is tailored to give the maximum impact for ELFA’s advocacy efforts. Since each schedule is individualized, it is critical that any changes in attendance are communicated to Matthew Hart prior to arrival.
Registered attendees will be given prior notice of policy updates and provided with printed materials when they pick up their registration materials on-site.

The block of rooms at the The Royal Sonesta Washington DC, Capitol Hill, 20 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20001, reserved for this event is SOLD OUT. The group rate of $379 plus tax is no longer available, nor does the hotel have any availability in general.
We do not have any other hotel room blocks at alternative properties and with rooms booking so quickly this time of year, we suggest finding available hotels through general booking websites such as Google, Hotels.com, etc.. A few suggestions for hotels near our host property are:

Getting There
The Royal Sonesta Washington DC, Capitol Hill is located in the heart of the distinctive Capitol Hill neighborhood only 4 blocks from the U.S. Capitol. You will find that the hotel is also a ten-minute walk from the famous National Mall, home to dozens of renowned monuments and free museums. Less than 1 block away is historic Union Station, offering an impressive variety of shopping, dining, entertainment and transportation alternatives.
The hotel is near the Union Station subway stop (red line), bringing the best of the capital area to your door, it's about an 5-minute walk to the hotel. It is also approximately 15 minutes from Ronald Reagan National Airport. Typical cost to the hotel is $2.50 (by Metro) and $25.00 (by taxi).
