3:00 - 4:30pm | Federal and State Income Tax UpdateLast August, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act (the Act) into law including an investment of over $369 billion in energy security and renewable energy. Our panel will discuss the effects the Act has had on equipment finance companies and their customers and will touch on topics such as: Corporate Alternative Minimum Tax; monetization strategies including transfers of credits; “direct pay” and traditional tax equity financing; the ongoing regulatory process of interpreting and implementing the Act and the State and Local tax impacts. A special focus will be placed on how the Federal income tax changes from the Act impact SALT compliance and administration. |
