The Small Ticket Best Practices Roundtable is an interactive virtual event designed to bring equipment finance executives together for information sharing and critical thinking about the issues facing you each day as leaders of your organization.

This year's Small Ticket Roundtable topic is Automating the Application Process. The agenda will include presentations and discussions around the benefits and challenges of automating application entry, one of the key components of the Equipment Finance Process.

The roundtable is open to senior executives of ELFA member small ticket equipment finance companies.

Mark joined Channel Partners in July of 2019 as their Chief Information Officer. Mark is responsible for all the technologies and resources that deliver best in class industry solutions.

Mark has enjoyed a diverse career in senior technology leadership roles within companies such as Digi-Key, Target, Veritas/Symantec, Questar, and Lasersonics in technology epicenters like Silicon Valley. His background leading enterprise development teams has allowed him to experience delivery in areas including 3D MRI, credit, scientific lasers, and multi-channel point of sale. He has experienced and led teams that have encompassed the driving force and rapidity of change that technology brings in both hardware and software. Mark holds a B.S. in IT Management from UOP and an Electronic Technology degree from Brown.


Nick Fong CLFP

Nick Fong, CLFP is the CMO & CTO of AP Equipment Financing.  Mr. Fong started his career in the equipment financing industry in 2010, working for an AP owned originations group by the name of First Star Capital.
 
Mr. Fong's career at AP has focused on collaborating with the executive team to develop holistic, contextual, and creative marketing strategies for AP's target markets. Throughout his career Mr. Fong leveraged his curiosity for technology to explore and implement various platforms across the multiple departments of AP.
 
Acquiring his CLFP (Certified Lease & Finance Professionals) designation in 2014, he has helped instruct multiple ALFP (Academy for Lease & Finance Professionals) events over the past few years. 
 
He now lives in Bend, OR with his wife and their twin boys. They enjoy traveling, dining, and exploring Oregon. He has a B.A. in Marketing from San Diego State University and an M.B.A. from California State University East Bay where he double majored in Marketing Management and Financial Management.
 

Brent Hall CLFP

Brent Hall is the Senior Vice President for Alliance Funding Group (“AFG”).  A thirty-year veteran in the equipment lease and finance industry, he was most recently the founder and CEO of Pinnacle Capital, a 20-year small-ticket equipment lease and finance company before being acquired by and joining AFG in early 2020.  Brent has held various board positions within in the equipment lease and finance industry including the UAEL Board and Executive Board and was the founding President of the NEFA.  Brent is also a past member of the CLFP board.

Why did ELFA decide to make the Small Ticket Best Practices Roundtable virtual in 2021?  
The ELFA Board of Directors and professional staff have been monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. As always, the safety of our members, event participants, community and staff are our top priority. After talking to members and weighing a number of factors, we believe the decision to hold a virtual event is in the best interest of everyone involved.
